Cera and I went out riding to Nez Perce National Historical Park when we rode out to Laurel on our 27 mile ride. We noticed a couple pieces of trash and that the park could use some TLC.
We had planned to do an CITO, just hadn't yet picked a spot and we both agreed on Nez Perce National Historical Park. It was out of the way so any groups that normally hit up parks do not normally get it in the rotation, and there is a couple Geocaches in the close proximity.
We were only there for a couple hours picking up the park, it's a small park, but we picked up a fair amount of litter from all around. I dont know if I trespassed, and I picked up some litter from the adjacent land spot, but I dont think they would mind.
We picked up a Geocache that was also in the area and got the International Geocaching Souvenir while we were at it. Before we left, we had noticed there had been a couple people that had stopped and enjoyed the park without knowing that there was any litter there just 20 minutes before. It felt good to contribute to that.
